The ASEAN Committee of Women (ACW) in collaboration with the Global Rus Trade in the framework of ASEAN-Russia joint project “Russia and ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Network” is organizing the Series of the following webinars
| 29 July 2021 | ASEAN-Russia Round Table on Barriers to Women Entrepreneurship ASEAN-Russia Round Table on Barriers to Women Entrepreneurship was held in the framework of ASEAN-Russia joint project “Russia and ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Network” performed by international B2B2C platform for cross-border e-commerce GlobalRusTrade.com. Within this project, Global Rus Trade team conducted research defining the national specifics of barriers to women entrepreneurship and professional advancement of women, as well as the study of the best practices to overcome the existing barriers. During this event, participants discussed the results of the project research with experts and representatives of public authorities. The Round Table was mainly focused on the following question clusters: • existing problems in business/company management in ASEAN countries and Russia (economic, sociocultural, educational, political and legal barriers); • existing programs to support women's entrepreneurship, training and professional development programs; • comments and suggestions to existing programs; • new measures required to support women's entrepreneurship and women’s professional development. |
Speakers are experts, representatives of business associations and public authorities, female entrepreneurs and top managers of companies from Russia and ASEAN countries.
